After being in business as Thummas Corporation (our legal business name) since January 2001 and servicing large businesses, we have realized that there is a need for technology vendors providing expert services to small businesses. With this in mind, we launched Smallbiz Niche in late 2003. We aim to bring to the small business community the same high quality services that large businesses engage but at very affordable Small Business prices!
No technology is too difficult for us and our solutions are the highest quality you will find in the industry! Our employees have anywhere between 15,000 and 35,000 hours of experience each in programming the most complex technological solutions imaginable.
Our CEO started out programming at the School of Aerospace Engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology) more than 12 years ago. Our Senior Developer has been programming for as long as he can remember (over 20 years)!

Hari Thummalapalli, PMP

He graduated from the School of Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology with a Master of Science degree in March of 1995 and graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Osmania University College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in July of 1991. He is a member of the American Mensa and has attained the PMP status from PMI (Project Management Institute).
Currently, he has assumed the roles of Technical Project Manager and President & CEO of Small Biz Niche and Thummas Corporation.
He has over 8 years of industry experience and has worked at various large corporations in project lead roles on both engineering and technology projects. He started out his career as a contract engineer at Ford Motor Company on the 1997 Ford Escort and 1998 Ford ZX2 launch teams. This provided him invaluable practical experience in using the complex systems principles he learned in graduate school that were also being used extensively at Ford Motor Company. He then worked in the Advanced Technology Division as a Project Manager at United Technologies Automotive and officially moved into the Information Technology field. This was followed by working for Internet services company iXL and software development company Trilogy before establishing Thummas Corporation and now Small Biz Niche. He worked as a Technical Project Manager on the Call Center Renewal project at Delta Technologies while working at iXL.
He believes that attention to details is paramount to success in any field and is bringing the complex systems design principles from the Aerospace Engineering field and the highly successful change management principles from the Automotive field to the Information Technology field. In his opinion, cross-industry application of these highly successful principles will result in revolutionary advances in the Information Technology field.
On a personal level, on top of being a Vegetarian, he is an avid fan of racing (motorcycle and car), photography, hiking in the Himalayas, and is trilingual (fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi in that order).

Sanjay Gulabani

He has several degrees and certifications in the computer field, he is our Senior Programmer Analyst. He has a Master of Science degree in Computing from University of Technology Sydney that is based in Sydney, Australia. He also has a Certificate Diploma in Information Technology from Monash University that is based in Melbourne, Australia and Masters Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech Computer Education that is based in Bombay, India on top of a Bachelor of Science degree from Bombay University in India. He is a Sun certified Java 2 Programmer.
He is currently on a full-time contract engagement with Xtria and helps out on a part-time basis with any internal technology and external small business projects.
He has over 8years of industry experience and has worked around the world in countries like India and Australia before coming to America in 1999. To keep his extensive work history short, his most recent engagements were in America with iXL and Trilogy.
He believes that the right designs involve extensive creative thinking and will save an enormous amount of effort in later stages of software development. He is also actively involved in the Art of Living, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making the world a better place for everyone through ancient yogic techniques. He is thoroughly committed to giving back to the community by participating in this and other volunteer organizations in community service.
He also spends his time traveling, experimenting with photography and hiking. He too is a Vegetarian. We can't keep track of how many languages he can speak but we are confident that he is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Sindhi.

Rosalinda Thummalapalli
is a native of Texas and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southwest Texas State University. She has worked in governmental accounting for 4 years at the University of Texas, Austin before joining Small Biz Niche and Thummas Corporation in October 2002. She is currently preparing to take her CPA in May 2003.
She is deeply involved in the business side of the company and manages all the accounting, reporting, legal aspects of the business. She is working on Accounting Corner, a spin-off company that is focussed on offering accounting services including accounting software setup as soon as she obtains her CPA.
She too is a Vegetarian and is bilingual (English and Spanish). Her personal interests include reading, traveling, word puzzles, and logic problems.

Amy Naumann
is also a native of Texas and is currently attending Austin Community College. She is our Executive Assistant who keeps us organized, does our book keeping, and works on anything that has an administrative component to it. She is currently being trained in Sales & Marketing so you will see her at trade shows and recruiting events.
She has many creative talents and is also involved in graphics design, and anything requiring creativity around our office.
Her personal interests include photography and music. She is a very high energy individual with a positive attitude. You will probably run into her at some point working with us either on the telephone or through email.

Sarat Madipalli
is based in our India R&D Center. He has a Master of Computer Applications degree from the prestigious University of Hyderabad, India. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Andhra University, India and his master's paper was recently selected for presentation at a national seminar in Chennai, India on Algorithms and Artificial Systems. He is a co-author on this paper.
He has finished training in the J2EE technologies last year and is currently finishing training in the .NET technologies. He is involved in the administrative setup of our R&D operations in India.
He will be supporting our offshore software development on some product ideas that we have. He will also be directly involved in our technology research efforts at both a theoretical and practical level.
